The Clinic

- There is No Need to Check In.
- Masks are Required at ALL times.
- Patients will receive an appointment time when booked.
- Patients are instructed to wait in the hall outside the clinic until they are called.
- Please ensure we have the correct cell phone number.
- One guest may join you for your appointment
- Some appointments are conducted by phone or Tele software. You will be notified if this is the case.
- Every attempt is made to keep on time, including long and reduced bookings. Dr. SuttonBrown's goal is to provide a comprehensive assessment. This may require follow up visits to complete your assessment.
- Please plan for 1 hour for first time visits or 30 min. for follow up visits.
- Please bring notes or symptom diaries with you to your visit.
- Please inform the office manager if you have seen other specialists for the same concern to allow us to request copies of their charts BEFORE your visit.

Referrals
The clinic provides Neuro-Ophthalmology Consultation services for patients living on Vancouver Island. It is covered under MSP and a referral from a Physician or Optometrist is required. Referrals are received via Fax: 778-508-9840
About Dr. SuttonBrown
Dr. SuttonBrown provides Neuro-Ophthalmology outpatient clinic services and Stroke and Inpatient Neurology Services at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
EDUCATION
Dr. SuttonBrown completed his Fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology from the University of British Columbia following a Residency in Neurology at the University of Calgary. He completed his dual undergraduate degrees in Biology and Psychology from Sonoma State University in California.
He is a fellow of the Royal College of the Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, member of the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society, Canadian Neurological Sciences Federation, Canadian Ophthalmology Society and the American Academy of Neurology.
